Superior Reliability for Challenging InstallationsThese extended stem and bonnet valves are crafted to suit both vertical and horizontal mounting, seamlessly fitting complex installations such as cryogenic liquid tanks and hard-to-access propane cylinders. Their robust construction and compliance with CGA, UL, and DOT/TC standards guarantee dependable performance.
High-Performance Materials and Ergonomic DesignEmploying a blend of brass, stainless steel, and PTFE, the valves withstand cryogenic temperatures and resist chemical exposure. The handwheel is made of impact-resistant, chemical-proof thermoplastic, which ensures user-friendly operation and exceptional durabilityeven in low-temperature environments.
FAQs of Interested in this product? Get Best Quote Rego ES8450 And TES8450 Series Extended Stem Valves, BK9450 And BK9470 Series Extended Bonnet Valves:
Q: How are the Rego ES8450, TES8450, BK9450, and BK9470 series valves typically installed?
A: These valves support both vertical and horizontal mounting orientations, allowing for flexibility in installation on cryogenic liquid cylinders or propane tanks, even in insulated or restricted spaces.
Q: What makes these valves suitable for cryogenic service and LPG/NH3 use?
A: The extended stem and bonnet design prevents freezing and ensures easy access and smooth operation at low temperatures, accommodating service temperatures from -196C to +65C.
Q: When should I use a valve with an extended stem or bonnet?
A: Extended stem or bonnet valves are ideal for installations where access is difficult due to insulation or tight spaces, or where operation at extremely low temperatures is required to prevent operator contact with cold surfaces.
Q: Where can these valves be applied, given their design and certifications?
A: These valves are compliant with CGA, UL, and DOT/TC standards, making them appropriate for LPG, NH3, and cryogenic media such as liquid oxygen, nitrogen, argon, CO2, and LNG in both industrial and commercial settings.
Q: What is the process for operating these valves?
A: Operation is manual, using the insulated, chemical-resistant handwheel for simple shut-off or flow control. Their construction enables safe, smooth turning even under low-temperature conditions.
Q: What are the benefits of choosing these particular models?
A: Selecting these extended stem/bonnet valves ensures reliable performance in challenging environments, user safety through insulated design, resistance to harsh chemicals, and compatibility with standard North American fitting sizes.
